In the fall of the same year the Heatwave EP (independent) was recorded and the band started touring, with the original formation including Mike K.on the keyboards. Their next release, Slow Motions on the Fast Lanes (independent), came out in the end of 2006 and achieved good reception also internationally. It was widely played in various internet and FM radio stations for example in Germany and in the U.S. The band gained attention also through MySpace site and people who liked their music founded fan pages and street teams all here and there. In the spring of 2008 The Jade signed a record deal with the indie label North & South. The sound of The Jade is durable and up-to-date. It’s aggressive yet subtle; it’s as catchy and groovy as it’s melodic. Contrasting and unique, it’s packed with igniting energy and depth. The British influence is no mistake, most of the band members have lived in London for some time. Furthermore Wille's been singing the backing vocals on the Widesreen Mode's albums, the band has had a couple of number ones on the charts. The Jade is an energetic live band, whose members share the same passion -music. After the record deal was signed in 2008, noteworthy German tours followed in April and October. The latter included a show in Switzerland also and the tour reached the most major cities in Germany. Bands' official debut album Seconds Away From Salvation is out now. Album was respectfully produced by Petri Majuri, and the vocals were produced by Hannu Leiden. The guys are also known from Havana Black. Major Leiden Team has previously produced the legendary Hanoi Rocks ia Two previous singles from the debut already made their way to the official TOP 10 Charts. First official release, single 'Drowning', reached # 9. Second release entered the charts being no. 4 and stayed on the single charts for the 5 consecutive weeks. Without a doubt: It’s a sin.
